A symbiotic relationship is an interaction between two organisms of different species that affects one or both organisms. In this life science worksheet for middle grades, students will be introduced to the different types of symbiotic relationships that exist in ecosystems: mutualism, parasitism, and commensalism. After reviewing these terms, students will read descriptions of animal relationships and use what they've learned to determine what kind of relationship is taking place.
