توضیحات
In this historical heroes worksheet, third and fourth graders learn about Eleanor Roosevelt, who became first lady of the United States when her husband, Franklin Roosevelt, was elected to the presidency in 1933. Children learn that Eleanor Roosevelt was orphaned at a young age, received her education in England, and was known for her spirited personality, humanitarian work, and for being the first U.S. delegate to the United Nations in 1945. Students then complete a graphic organizer designed to help them reflect on what they have learned. Use Historical Heroes: Eleanor Roosevelt for a unit on U.S.history or for Women's History Month.
